¿How to Arrive?

Ground route by bus

CAVE (Central de Autobuses de Veracruz) is the terminal for foreign passenger buses of the City and Port of Veracruz. It is located 5 minutes by car from the Historic Center on Av. Salvador Diaz Mirón between the streets Tuero Molina and Orizaba in the Colonia Ignacio Zaragoza. It has accesses on Av. La Fragua and on Av. Díaz Mirón. It belongs to the ADO Group (Autobuses de Oriente) and offers service through its ADO, ADO GL, ADO Platino, Autobuses Unidos (AU) or TRV (Veracruzanos Regional Transports) lines, with runs at all hours of the day.

Additionally, there are two small substations, one in the north area on Av. Rafael Cuervo # 83, Col. Playa Linda in Veracruz, Ver. And another one in the south zone on Av. Urano esq. Paseo Ejército Mexicano inside “Plaza Express Las Palmas” in Boca del Río, Ver.

How to arrive by road

North Zone: 

Federal highway 180 (Tampico – Tuxpan – Cardel – Veracruz).

Center Zone: 

Federal highway 150D (México – Puebla – Orizaba – Córdoba – Veracruz).
Federal highway 140 (Puebla – Perote – Xalapa – Cardel – Veracruz).

South Zone:

Federal highway 180 (Minatitlán – Jáltipan – Los Tuxtlas – Alvarado – Veracruz) o (Villahermosa – Coatzacoalcos – La Tinaja – Veracruz).
Federal highway 145 (Tuxtepec – Tierra Blanca – La Tinaja – Veracruz).

Flights

The International Airport of Veracruz “General Heriberto Jara Corona” is operated by the Aeroportuario del Sureste Group (ASUR), is 25 minutes by car from the Historic Center and is located at kilometer 13.5 of the Veracruz – Xalapa highway, in the Colonia “Las bajadas”. It consists of a single terminal with great aerial activity, shops, ATMs and restaurants and its official hours of operation are from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. In its facilities you can find counters of the main aeronautical companies that will surely have a ticket to go to your destination.

 

Taxis connect the airport with the metropolitan area and you can also rent minibuses or cars. In addition, 1 km on the federal highway, there are public bus stops.
